[For taking pictures of starscapes] This is an adapter for installing a camera head on top of a Schmidt-Cassegrain lens barrel or EdgeHD lens barrel, and mounting equipment such as a single-lens camera or a small CMOS guide mirror.
For the NexStar SE/Evolution series, install using the screw hole for attaching the finder.
11 and 14 inch lens barrels are attached using an adapter plate.
Recommended for shooting starscape photos that capture the starry sky and landscape within the same angle of view, such as when photographing the Milky Way.
